RETREAT OVERVIEW
Join Tina Pashumati James at Nectar, a beautiful sanctuary 20 mins off the coast of Vancouver on the ancestral and unceded territory of Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island, BC), for a sweet celebration of light. This retreat will bring us together in circle to mark the transition of Spring into Summer. Tina will guide us through flowing Asana, Meditation, Nada Yoga (the yoga of sound), elemental wisdom, and nature immersion. This will be an opportunity to connect to Mother Earth, your body, ancient practices transmuted through a senior teacher, and to mark a threshold point in the wheel of the year.

On June 21st we will celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day and mark the start of the Summer Solstice with Tina and elders Barry and Clara from the Lil’wat nation. On this sacred afternoon, stories and songs from ancestors are shared, accompanied by prayer and drumming. This event honours the diverse cultures, voices, experiences, and histories of Indigenous communities.

This retreat will take place at Nectar Yoga, a beautiful sanctuary 20 mins off the coast of Vancouver on the ancestral and unceded territory of Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island, BC). To read more about Nectar Yoga, click here.
